Let’s Talk: The Celtic Language

It's fun, bizarre, and overall just a unique language. I would love to be able to read more things written in it, but at this time I don’t think I can. One reason for this is that I don't have many Celtic books and I don't really know where to look except for the library. Even then, I don't know if my library has any Celtic books. As for now, though, I'll just look at what I do know and at Overly Sarcastic Productions.

Again, the Celtic Language is unique. For one thing, words are spelled phonetically. But at the same time not really. Scratch that nothing is really spelled phonetically. There are also names that you look at and go "what the heck". I have prepared a whole range of names that are like that.

"Mom how would you describe the Celtic language?"
"It's basically giving a big ol' middle figure to the English."

The names I have prepared are mostly from Celtic Mythology.

If you take a look at Celtic Mythology, there are names like Pwyll. Pwyll was a prince and a pretty cool one at that. His name is pronounced "push".
There is another name from Celtic Mythology. Cú Chulainn. A pretty awesome fighter that has a pretty awesome myth behind him. His name is pronounced "Coo Coo-lane".
One last example from Celtic Mythology is Fionn Mac Cumhaill. Another amazing hero who was super intelligent (because of a salmon). His named is pronouced "Fin McCool". A pretty cool name for a cool guy.

Now here are just some other names that are Celtic and their pronouciations:
Sean is pronouced "Shawn"
Niamb is pronounced "Knee-v"
And Siobhan is pronouced "She-bah-n"
