Sleep
Honestly, I don’t like staying up too late. I always aim to sleep by 10:30. For example, if I’m staying up watching Netflix or talking to people I always put away my device (be it iPad or phone but usually iPad) around 10:30. Now I may seem like a wimp, but I get headaches and ringing noises and overall blarg-ness if I stay up past 11.
The only reason why I’m bringing this up is because recently my friend and I had a sleep over and she stayed up until like 2 am watching TV. I was laying there on the floor with earbuds trying to sleep. I think I fell asleep at one point, but then I woke back up. I have some friends who want to do all-nighters and the problem with that is that I can’t do all-nighters. I enjoy sleep to much. Plus I automatically wake up around 7:30-8 am so no matter how late I stay up I can’t just “sleep in the next morning”. I have friends who can sleep in until 2 in the afternoon (or atleast one friend did that that I know of).
Ugh... school is going to start in 2 weeks which means I’ve got to finish those packets and that also means less sleep. You see, I’ve got sports and homework and food so the time I go to bed will probably be at 10 and I have to wake up at 6:30 meaning I’ll get about 8 hours of sleep. That isn’t too bad but teenagers need 11 hours of sleep as our brains are literally changing sleep. And 11 hours, ha! What teenager gets that much sleep and is able to do homework and socializing? Not me and most of my school, that’s for sure.
This was just a cluster (I can’t think of a better word I pretty much just woke up) of sleep-related thoughts that I started at night but finished this morning. Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
