The Alien Species

Apologies that I didn’t make this sooner, I kind of forgot. Better late than never, right? Anyway, here’s the species. I might have a friend draw them and draw some illustrations for the newspaper sooner or later. Please note that this idea is mine and someone using it claiming it is their idea is not allowed (copyright stuff).

Name: Sefurians (s-ef-oo-ree-ans)
Planet: Sefura (s-ef-oo-ra)
Capital: Pimienta (pee-men-ta)

Existence: Since 1300s

Reason for Existence: To better the universe 

Qualities/Discription: 

• Reputable fighters
• Long (ish) and furry (ish) ears
• Average height (both males and females) = 6’ 2”
• Military = strong
• Big eyes that can change color depending on how their mood
• Their mood has to be strong enable for the eye to change
• Black = no strong emotions being felt
• Yellow = a positive mood (happy, excited, proud, etc.)
• Navy Blue = a negative mood (greed, jealousy, anger, etc.)
• Pink/Red = love 
• Green = evil
• Can live up to 1,000 years
• Enable to join the military one must:
• be at least 125 years old
• have training/be an excellent fighter
• have no criminal record 
• Have a human looking body and build
• Can cry, but not often 

Government: Elected Leader (one term = 14 years). They also have sub-leaders that are similar to governors.

Military: Strong

Important History to Know: 

• was in a war with Earth about 125 years ago (year was in 1893)
• it was a draw
• lost a strong fighter (left her on Earth for treason)
• thought they were helping Earth but they were wrong (that's why the strong fighter did treason)
• In the year 1936, there was an amazing leader elected (Yasunya the Incredible)
• She ruled the planet with incredible power
• She fought along side her people during the war with their planet territory Pluto (war was in 1938)
• She had great values and protected the lives of many
• Unfortunately, her rein came to an end in 1952 (near the end of her last term anyway) when she was kidnapped on her way to a peace rally 
• Many believe she is still alive today
• Her birthday (July 30th) has been made a holiday where everything is canceled. School, work, military events, etc. The only thing that happens is a huge parade, parties, and at the end of the day there are planet wide speeches.
• In the year 2000, an attack was made on the capital causing over 2,000 fatalities
• A few of the people were caught, but the leader escaped
• He has a bounty of 300,000 lati (lati = the currency)
• Name is unknown

Other Info: Sefurians are sensitive to heat and any time the climate is above 90 degrees, everything is canceled.
