The Mirror Monster

Introduction
There are many things that go bump in the night, but there is one in particular I wish to discuss. It's a fearsome monstrosity that lives in your mirror as it waits for the perfect opportunity to crawl out.
Seeing as how it lives in your mirror (which doesn't get much light, mind you) its eyes resemble black holes. Looking into their eyes makes you want to take their creepily extended hand.
Do not take their hand!
It is only a cheap ploy to take you to their turf, so they can devour you. The mirror realm is the only place they thrive. This is because the mirror realm has a certain energy about it that
Appearance
This monster has semi-large hands with sharp finger-like-claws, a large smiling mouth full of teeth the size of a large anglerfish, and no hair atop their round head. They have only two arms and hands, just like humans. Their body structure, however, is lean and bone-y. They also have a high metabolism rate. To the untrained eye, one might think they are simply aliens lurking behind you ready to steal your cow, but they are much worse. Oh so much worse.
The Attack
These creatures will crawl out of your mirror, using their fingers like hooks to help drag themselves out, and grab your 'round the neck when you least expect it. They'll sink the tips of their pointed fingers into your neck to release a venom. This venom is deadlier than a King Cobra or a Box Jellyfish. Although it will not kill you immediately, it will slowly kill you. Your vision will blur, everything will numb + tingle, and your veins will slowly start to turn a sickening shade of blue so much so that you will be able to see the blue showing through your skin. Within a few minutes, the pain will begin to reach your heart. That is when everything will start to go downhill. Your soul will feel like it is trying to rip itself from your physical being. You'll start running a fever of 150-200 degrees Fahrenheit, causing you to boil from the inside out. Your heart will start having seizure-like-spasms and will erupt within the time frame of 5-10 minutes, but you won't die. See, the venom is designed to make you suffer after you are supposed to die. For about 2 hours after your heart bursts, you will be in a suspended state of endless pain and suffering. It will feel as though needles are coursing through your blood stream, your head will throb, and your muscles will start to seize up. Then, and only then, will you die. All in all, after the venom is released, you will have approximately 4 hours to live. If you can find a cure within the first half-hour, you'll live.
Protection
There is only one simple solution to prevent the eminent death that awaits you. That is to wash your mirror in the blood of the fallen mixed with crushed pixie wings. The blood of the fallen is a sign that someone as already died and the crushed pixie wings keep the monsters away. Crushed pixie wings to these types of monsters are like salt to spirits/ghosts. Not to mention, crushed pixie wings add a nice subtle-sparkle to your mirror. The blood will not stain your mirror as it will naturally go away within the next 24 hours.
Extra Information
There are no known ways to kill these creatures. Whether or not they bleed is up for debate.
