Crabs
Crabs

Intro
Crabs are very interesting because they have an interesting life. Crabs are crustaceans , which means that
they have an exoskeleton. They like water.
Life
A crab starts off as an egg on its mother’s chest. When it hatches, it does not fall off its mother, like
what you might think. It clings to its mother instead, along with its brothers and
sisters.
Crabs eat grasshoppers, earth
worms, bugs, fish, fish eggs, frogs, decaying plants, and animal material. By eating the bugs, they
help keep bug populations not too high.
Reproduction
In the spring and summer a female crab will eat a lot to feed
her eggs nourishment. When the female crab finds a male crab, they mate. While
mating, the male gives off his sperm to the eggs.
Conclusion
Crabs are important because
they help the ecosystem and economy. Also, crabs are a food source for animals
and people. Plus, baby crabs are really cute, and crabs make my aunt REALLY happy.
