The Joy of Your Cells
Some people do not think that they are made up of cells. Cells are the building blocks of all living things. Cells are also living things. The human body is composed of trillions of cells.
What cells do in the body
In the body, cells take the nutrients from the foods we eat. Those cells are called Vacuoles. They convert the nutrients into energy. They also store fat and liquid in themselves. Cells contain your DNA material. A Lysosome, something inside a cell, fights off evil bacteria. The Golgi is a complex inside a cell. Everything made in a cell goes through the Golgi. Cells also reproduce.
