Once Upon A Girl: This time, I'm the Hero

Once upon a time there was a peasant girl. Her name was Gretl. One day Gretl was walking with Prince Athowagood(prince-a-thow-a-good). But then she heard some rustling in the bushes. Then she saw a bag come out so she quickly jumped and Prince Athowgood got into the bag. Gretl soon saw that a witch was coming out of the bushes with the bag over her shoulder.

"Now I have a meal for me. I'll fatten him up, then stick him oven!" Said the witch.

So Gretl drop her basket and ran after the witch. But the witch beat her to broomstick before Gretl. So Gretl had to go by foot.

4 hours later Gretl saw a river. Right before she was going to take off her shoes a dragon came out of the water. Gertl thought quickly and grab her sword a fought the dragon. On her 10th swing she cut off the dragon's head. She cut off the dragon's tongue and placed it in her coin purse. Then she took off some of the scales and made a shield out of them. Then she used the extra scales as a raft. She was able to cross the river. At the other side,Gretl found a dirt path and followed it for she saw footprints.

2 hours had passed and Gretl could see a stone tower in the distance. So she walked a couple inches,when she saw a huge,purple,black, and fire breathing dragon. She used her shield and blocked all the blows. Gretl was able to get close to the dragon and slay it. She then cut of the tongue of that one and put that one in her coin purse,too. She then used the scales of that one to make a chest plate. Gretl then saved the other ones in her pouch in her shield.

Gretl walked for 2 more hours and found the tower. She saw a cow at the bottom. Killed it. Ate it. Used the hide to make straps. She attached the straps to her shield and put the shield on her back. After that, she started to climb the tower. While she was climbing,she saw that it looked an awful lot like Rapunzel's tower. Stone,a little window at the top,and very,very,very high. She sucked it up and kept climbing.

At the top she saw Prince Athowagood tied up in thick rope. She cut it and untied his hands. Just after she took the cloth from his mouth,he started to yell at her for him getting into the bag. So she gave him a slap in the behind. Gretl then whistled and her griffin came and took them back home. Gretl did not allow the prince to sit up front.

When they got back home,Prince Athowagood started to tell the village that he saved Gretl. So Gretl gave him a slug to the arm. Gretl told everyone that he was lieing and showed them her sword. So they belived her and Gretl soon flew off with her griffen far away from Prince Athowagood.
